Not a bad day out. Bit basic compared to sea world but our little boy enjoyed looking at all the fish and other animals. Disappointed with the cafe. Very slow service to order food and when we got to the front we told they only had two fish and chips left at 1pm.
Great for the kiddies , plenty to see ! Loved the fact you can come and go all day! Fair prices on 2 adults and 2 children! Book in advance! Only reason for 4 Stars is the fact that the gift shop is overpriced a bit especially when you can win the same flamingo across the road at the arcade for 20p a go!
Great place to visit for a few hours. Some new exhibits added, meerkats and rescued monkeys. All laid out very well. For the best value tickets, book online before 10.00 am on the day of your visit. There is a fee paying public car park next to the aquarium.
I love this place - the staff are always really friendly and welcoming, there are plenty of wonderful fish and other animals to see and the exhibits are really well set up and have lots of interesting info. We have an annual ticket, which is excellent value for money. Such a lovely atmosphere throughout. We usually visit at least once a week!
Really entertaining place but wish it was a little larger for the price. Well worth booking online the day before to get a bit of a discount. The animals in the Wild section seem to be well looked after but could have had slightly better equipped enclosures, especially the monkeys. The Sealife section was spot on and regularly saw staff going round feeding the fish. Really like that there are viewing boxes almost everywhere for the little ones to get a better look.
