Id been into this shop a couple of times over the last few years just to browse the bikes in there. Every time the staff had been helpful and polite and I never felt ignored, nor pressured to talk to them. Following the cycle2work scheme reopening in my work place I decided to take the plunge and invest in my first road bike. Id done a fair bit of research beforehand and knew what I was after. However after speaking to Gav he provided me with a few further options to consider before making a final decision. I went away, had a look and made the decision to get a Specialized Allez Elite. When it was ordered Gav told me that there was only one bike in the size I wanted, which was from another store of theirs elsewhere in the country. Around a week later I had a call to say my bike had arrived!I went to the shop and immediately noticed a pair of Mavic Aksium wheels on the bike which are not stock and are of a significantly better quality. From speaking to Gav he told me that there was a problem with the hub on one of the wheels and rather than me having to wait potentially a month or so to get a bike ordered in from their supplier they thought they would just change the wheels out as a goodwill gesture. I honestly cannot thank you guys enough for this. It means a lot to me to show this kind of customer care and it promotes loyalty. Following this I bought a significant amount of cycle gear from the shop and also brought a friend of mine down to buy his gear. I cant recommend Cycles UK in Leigh enough. The service I received was second to none and I can say hand on heart that I wouldnt take my business elsewhere.
I took my bike here for repair after being knocked off. Gav and the guys were very helpful, enthusiastic and honest. I was able to get a good temporary solution to my bent crank arm and they sorted out my brakes and a couple of little jobs on my other bike too, straightening a bent wheel, cutting down my handlebars and fitting new grips. I'll be going back for other repairs and bits I need.
Excellet service!Staff really make you feel welcome and take there time helping you out which is very rare nowadays. They helped me fix the bike i was trying to build and shared their knowledge with tips and sound advice.Would highly recomend.
Excellent service from all three staff in the shop. Discussed my needs with Stuart, who was really knowledgeable and had some good suggestions. Had a short test ride on an ebike; went back a couple of days later and bought it, at a great price. Perfect - thanks :)
Sorted me out with a great bike at a great price and pushed me towards something that fitted my needs, rather than selling me the more expensive thing I thought I wanted but actually knew nothing about. That's when you know you're getting truly exceptional customer service. I never felt rushed or pressured and their knowledge of the subject seems bottomless. Specific mention to Michaela for helping me choose the bike and then fitting all the accessories, and Stuart for the great deal. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough :)
