I had a great time in the monte cafe & Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful One member of the staff went above and beyond when I explain I couldn't eat something that had cheese on the item she went and made me something without cheese on it I was very grateful for what she' did I for me
Always the best coffee in whole Southend. Cakes are also good as they are home made and aren't as sweet as english ones ( it's Portuguese cafe ). Food is ok but would be nice if they started doing something healthy, balanced ( without bread crumps, mayonnaise , chips etc.). Price is very affordable .Service is quick & very good.
Absolutely incredible, the piri piri chicken was juicy and piping hot, the rice was well cooked and flavoursome and the salad was crunchy and fresh. The best food I have ever ordered from a restaurant.
Lovely breakfast with some delicious chorizo for a nice little foreign touch to what is a proper full English. Got the large one of course! Worth visiting and that's just for breakfast. Price weren't too bad for a small business, at 7 quid, considering it is a real full English with extras and a cup of tea to go with...
