I started writing this review last night. My Dad was buried here last year. Only members of the Southend & Westcliff Hebrew Congregation can be buried in this cemetery. My Mum passed away last night, so will be visiting again very soon. It's a small room where the prayers take place. The cemetery itself is neat and tidy, it appears to be very well looked after. My only complaint is that the groundsman rested on my Dad's headstone when we went there for the stonesetting. It felt disrespectful, but he quickly moved when my son asked him to get off. Rabbi Bar was very sympathetic, but it felt cold that he wouldn't shake my hand because I'm female. There's not much parking space, and the ground is quite uneven if you're in a wheelchair or unsteady on your feet.
