Great food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere. I was told the risotto would take a while to prepare and they suggested the mushroom linguine instead. It was amazing! Will be back again :)
Was there at the weekend with lots of family including a 4 and a 6 year old. The staff were great and catered for the children with their own special food. I had the whitebait and salmon, both of which were delicious. Dessert was also delicious and a very generous portion. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to revisit one day.
Went here last night for my partners birthday. Can't rate the place highly enough. Firstly, the staff / manager were very warm and welcoming, from the minute we walked in we felt valued as customers. The drinks were reasonably priced for a fine dining restaurant. Now...the food. We both had the tempura pork belly for a starter. The pork was beautifully tender and the dressing and sauce was to die for. We had the sea bass for our main and it was perfectly cooked, lovely tender fish with a nice crispy skin just the way it should be. The prices were great too. We had the starter and main each and 3 drinks and it came to about 50, which for food of that quality I think is very reasonable. If I had to pick one down side it would be that the portions could have been slightly larger, but we both left feeling nicely full so that's a very minor issue. All in all we had a really nice experience and I would definitely go back again. Thanks to all the staff at Leigh Bistro for a lovely evening.
