this school is racist and make your predicted grades for A level the same grade you got for AS even if your 5 marks away from the next grade- its so stupid. other schools dont even do this so if you end up getting CCC this school believes those will be same grades you will get in A Level and will not even predict you a B- nonsense.

Southend High School for Boys is an amazing school that not only focuses on Maths and English, but all subjects. They're basically an all-rounder. They give you these green stickers called 'Merit Marks' to say 'Keep it up' and give you a sanction (which is basically a detention) when you are doing something wrong. One thing that I love about this school is that most of the sanctions are during lunch time and not after school unlike other schools (Which is basically the opposite to us).However, some decision I think are flawed. For example, Vertical tutoring. Vertical Tutoring is when you socialise and work together with other year groups for about 7 weeks. I dislike this because it is very awkward: it is like forcing yourself to socialise with people you do not know. I understand the fact they're trying to help you with your social skills but I disagree how they are executing it. Other than that, it is a YES from me.
The only reason it gets good results is because all the intelligent people go there.
1 star is generous. The kids are nice and supportive, but the teachers will shred your self confidence to nothingness. I had an adult prodding me IN FRONT OF MY DAD. I spent more time upset than learning in this abomination of a school. 0/10 would not recommend.
