Great pub situated in olde Leigh. Perfect fishing village pub, great beers, ok food, but you must go for the seafood hut in their beer garden across the road. This pub is now owned by the London based Nicholson pub chain which are great for beers and ciders. Wines not bad too. Inside is very small but hey who wants to sit inside when you have the estuary to sit next to. Staff are very friendly, making locals and strangers feel welcome alike. Would highly recommend.
Always a cosy welcome, real ales and dogs welcome. Sea views. Outdoor seating with Osborne cockle shed serving seafood.
We had a fabulous night at this pub. Friendly staff, great pub environment, good bar snacks, welcoming. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended
Perfect little gem remaining of the more traditional old Leigh. Tranquil place to sit and watch the sea with a drink and bite to eat. Has one of the few remaining fish stalls here too. Well worth a visit as still as good as it always has been.
Had a lovely lunch at The Crooked Billet in Leigh on Sea with my wife. Lovely little pub with not many tables for food which makes dining here quite select if you are lucky enough to get a table. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and attentive and the Cappuccino was hot (our bugbear). In the summer this place is always packed solid so not sure if we would get a table every time we come here.
