First time there and what a lovely place, the food was good and the staff were very nice.
Really good Thai food... I must admit I am from Kent and I feel that our restaurants are much better than in Essex... however the food at Tara Thai is brilliant and well priced
Tara Thai lost a bit of its past splendor. The service is out of faulty towers with a waiter/barman running like a headless chicken to every table. Food is still tasty (careful with the beef salad, very spicy!).
What a cracking little find. We sampled the set lunch menu coupled with some dumplings and found it was absolutely superb value. The whole place is spotless and the service exemplary. We will definitely be going back for more when we're down that way.
