Good friendly service. Food as you would expect and nicely presented. Background music fits the atmosphere. Over the top decoration which grows on you. My wife really pleased with what was a birthday present for us from some friends.
OVER PRICED RUBBISH Very disappointed paid 120 for 4 people yes the decor is lovely but we only got three sandwiches two rolls and three cakes and scones to share between us which is ridiculous for the money you should at these get one each for the money I would have avoided if I new theres one called prested hall in Chelsmford thats highly recommended which I wished Id booked instead now basically your paying for the decor not the food
We booked this for my daughter's hen do. As it was an event they advertise it at 30 pound a head . There were 10 of us and we each paid and 10 deposit . When the bill came up it was actually 35 a head because they had a so get in and they whack a service charge on as well. We did query this but still ended up having to pay. A bit embarrassing when you end up having to ask everyone for more money . Very disappointed.
We booked this for our Mum for Mother's Day and thought the place was lovely and food was fab. The only down side is they advertise 25 a head for events on their website but charged 30 a head. When we asked the lady was rather rude in telling me I was wrong until I proved otherwise but still charged us the 30 which was disappointing.
