I have been a patient for 24 years and I have nothing than praise for this practise. Very attentive receptionists and this also applies to the doctors.
Appalling patient service!I am so disappointed with the Doctors Practice, as their patient service or lack of is worrying.Having been a patient for over 25 years, I am used to the reception staff tone and manner when speaking to them regarding most matters. However, not even wishing to book an appointment with the Doctor which is very problematic at the best of times, I simply requested if a repeat prescription could be prepared for me to collect the same day. I take full responsibility for running out of medication which is required daily, but was not expecting such a poor lack of service from the reception of the practice. The receptionist didnt appear to have any wish to assist in this matter and insisted on a written request being brought into the reception in order for a new prescription to be issued.within the next 48 hours! The receptionist didnt care that I was located 20 miles away and needed the prescription the same day as the medication is for daily use and particularly worrying was that she was aware of what the medication was and shouldnt be missed.Having been a patient for over 25 years I will now be changing practice. Dr Sathanandan is an exceptional Doctor and have nothing against him, but feel so disappointed along with Im confident many other patients in the appalling service & manner of the reception staff.
