Absolutely wonderful B&B with appealing, comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts. We were lucky enough to stay for a number of nights and I can highly recommend a stay if you're in the area. Our room had an enormous bed which felt like it took 5 minutes to traverse! Along with the outrageously comfortable bed we also had a seating area, a desk and voluminous wardrobe complete with iron and board. Thankfully it also has a fridge for cooling water and a sandwich or two. A particular highlight are the bathrooms. We had a beautifully decorated separate power shower and roll top bath along with a vast mirror and sink. The owners have run B&Bs around the world and this shows in the simple but elegant decorative choices throughout the rooms and communal areas. In the communal area you will find a seating area with lovely views to the sea and a veranda to sit out on. Once again the room is genteel and effective with some exquisite soft furnishings. Tucked away in a corner is a small bar with all the essentials for a late night snack or perhaps a bottle of wine. It's all very thoughtful and lovingly laid out.A little out from the town centre but frankly that's a bonus. The quieter area allows you to relax and have long walks on the beach. The only disadvantage is parking can be a challenge. That's not the owner's fault and they try their best to find you a space around the back.Overall the best B&B I have had the pleasure to stay in. If we are in the area again I would definitely stay here again. I can't give it higher praise than that!
Most amazing guesthouse to stay in. Unique character with sea view, beach across the road and most importantly owners that make you feel special. Everything is bespoke - from tiny items in your room to excellent service. And they have honesty bar!
